Terms of use.

   Who we are

   These terms are an agreement between you and Temp and Major Inc., doing business as Ottomind(“Ottomind”, “we”). If you use Ottomind for a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you may do so. Questions: hello@ottomind.dev.

   Ottomind Studio and the Ottomind Store were retired in October 2026 and accept no new projects or orders. The Studio terms govern only past Studio engagements.

2. 02

   Public beta

   Ottomind is in public beta: the service is live and these terms apply in full, but features can change, pause or stop, and the service may have errors or interruptions. Some features are switched off or open to some accounts only. Anything you’ve already paid for keeps the terms it was bought under.

3. 03

   Your account

   You must be 18 or older to use Ottomind. One Ottomind account signs you in to every product. Keep your password and sign-in links to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. Use your own email, and give accurate details.

   You can delete your account at any time, in Settings on the web, in the app under Account, or by emailing us. The privacy policy explains what that deletes.

   Searching for a business

   Ottomind Search is free for customers. It reads what you ask for and recommends businesses and professionals that fit, based on their services, specialties, Signals (what a business has told us it will do), business knowledge, location and your request’s constraints. An AI model does most of the reading and scoring, with plain rules as a fallback. Reviews and measured reply speed are small quality signals. Paying businesses never buy a higher ranking, and every listed business can be recommended and messaged whatever its plan.

   Results are recommendations, not guarantees. Listings, prices, Signals, work examples and other details are supplied by the businesses and are not independently verified unless we say so. Confirm price, timing, licensing, insurance and anything else that matters to you with the business before you hire it.

   AI-generated content. Briefs, short answers, result explanations, reply drafts, summaries and AI call responses are generated by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they aren’t professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Answers cite the web pages they draw on; check them.

   Found on the web. When Ottomind has few or no strong matches, Search may show businesses found on the web. They are not on Ottomind, we haven’t checked them, and their details come from third-party pages that may be out of date. Contact them directly and confirm everything.

   Businesses are independent. Businesses on Ottomind are independent of us. They are responsible for their services, prices, offers, bookings and conduct. Any agreement, booking or payment is between you and the business; Ottomind is not a party to it, doesn’t take payments for it and doesn’t guarantee it. Booking times confirmed in a chat are an arrangement between you and the business.

   Reviews can only come from customers a business answered on Ottomind; write honestly about your own experience. We may hide reviews that break these terms. Businesses can send offers only to customers who saved or messaged them, and can show offers on results to people searching for what they do without learning who those people are. You can turn offer emails off at any time.

   Listing a business

   Anyone who runs a business or works for themselves can list for free. You publish your own listing; we may review, restrict, pause or remove any listing, Signal, offer or review that breaks these terms or looks misleading. Only list a business you own or are authorized to represent, and keep what you publish accurate and current: services, prices, areas, hours, credentials, Signals, business knowledge, work examples and offers.

   Signals and offers are your commitments. Customers may be asked whether a public Signal was honored, and a Signal with a poor record stops counting in matching. Honor the offers you make. You are responsible for holding the licenses, insurance and permits your work requires, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business and to how you contact customers.

   “Verified” means a business showed it controls its website’s domain by signing in with a confirmed email on that domain. A license badge means a license number matched an active record in a public register (today, New York City’s), which we recheck. Neither is sold, and neither is an endorsement of the business’s work or a check of its insurance or qualifications.

   You keep ownership of what you publish. You give Ottomind a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, index and use it to run and promote Search, including showing your listing to customers, in search results, on your public page and to AI assistants through our search connector, for as long as it is listed and for a reasonable time after. The owner can add team members on plans with more seats, and is responsible for what they do; only the owner can change billing.

   We may create a listing from public information, for example when a customer invites a business. If it’s yours, you can claim it, or ask us to correct or remove it at hello@ottomind.dev.

6. 06

   Plans and credits for businesses

   The Free plan includes 10 new conversations a month. Paid plans (Solo $40/mo or $400/yr, Growth $100/mo or $1000/yr, Pro $250/mo or $2500/yr, in US dollars) include unlimited conversations and differ by AI assists, seats, offers and export, as shown on the billing page. A plan or credits are only needed for a business to reply to new customers.

   Plans are billed in advance by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Change or cancel any time from Billing; a cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then moves to Free. If we change a price, we tell you before it applies, and it starts at your next renewal. AI assist allowances reset each month and don’t roll over.

   Credits pay for replies to new customers beyond your plan and, if you choose to pay as you go, for appearances in matches (1 credit per 1,000). The credits a reply uses depend on the category. One credit costs $1; packs ($25 for 25, $100 for 110, $250 for 290) are paid once. Purchased credits never expire. You can set a monthly cap; at the cap, replies to new customers pause until the next month, and customers can still find and message you. Welcome, share-reward, founding and other promotional credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, expire as stated when granted, and only pay for replies and appearances on Ottomind (or only conversations, where stated), never for a subscription.

   The counts we show businesses (appearances, page views, clicks, saves and qualified connections) measure customer interest, not purchases. We don’t guarantee leads, sales or any business outcome, except the connection guarantee below.

   Connection guarantee: where we publish a monthly minimum for a business’s category, a business on a paid monthly plan whose billing period ends with fewer qualified connections (different customers who started a conversation with a substantive message, excluding spam and conversations the business reported) receives a credit equal to one month of its plan on its next invoice. The minimum is fixed when the period starts and is set from results in that category, never promised where we lack the history. To qualify, the listing must be live at the end of the period and the business must answer at least 80% of qualified conversations within 48 hours. After two credits in a row we review before crediting again. Credits have no cash value.

7. 07

   AI calls for businesses

   AI calls are a separate, prepaid add-on that lets customers talk to an AI assistant from a business’s Ottomind page. They are being prepared for launch and open only once the service is verified. The assistant identifies itself as AI, uses only your listing, approved business knowledge and public Signals, and can’t confirm bookings, issue refunds or make commitments for you. You are responsible for keeping that information accurate.

   Monthly plans (Starter $49 for 60 minutes, 1 simultaneous call; Growth $149 for 200 minutes, 2 simultaneous calls; Scale $349 for 500 minutes, 3 simultaneous calls) renew monthly until cancelled. Included minutes expire at the end of their billing period. Upgrades start a new paid month immediately, and existing minutes keep their original expiry; downgrades and cancellations take effect at renewal. Pay-as-you-go minutes (40 for $30, 100 for $75) and top-ups for an active plan (60 for $39, 150 for $99) are paid once and never expire, even after cancellation. Monthly minutes are used first. Without an active monthly plan, one call can run at a time.

   Each call uses at least 15 seconds, then whole seconds, including silence and muted time, and lasts up to 10 minutes. Calls stop when paid minutes run out; there is no automatic overage or recharge. AI call minutes never use your plan, AI assists or credits.

8. 08

   Refunds and failed payments

   We don’t refund partial periods, or credits or minutes you haven’t used, unless the law requires it. If you think we charged you in error, email hello@ottomind.dev. When a payment is refunded or disputed, we remove the matching share of the credits or minutes it bought; if they’ve already been used, the related features can be paused until it’s resolved. If a renewal fails, the plan returns to Free once the payment provider ends the subscription.

9. 09

   Rules for everyone

   There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t send harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, scams or spam in requests, listings, reviews, offers or chats. Don’t impersonate anyone, post false or misleading listings or reviews, review your own business or a competitor, use customers’ details for anything other than the job they asked about.

   Don’t misuse the services: no scraping or bulk export beyond your plan, no attempts to break, probe or overload them, no instructions hidden in content to manipulate our AI, no spam (including through invite or share links) and nothing unlawful.

   We filter some language automatically, review every report within 24 hours, remove offending content and suspend or remove accounts that break these rules. You can report or block any conversation from its menu, or email us.

10. 10

    Ottomind Labs and other programs

    Ottomind Labs lists apps Ottomind builds and runs. Apps marked as live are in public beta; apps marked as upcoming are not yet available, and joining a waitlist doesn’t guarantee access or a launch date. A launched app’s own terms, where it has them, apply in addition to these.

    Affiliates and invites, the Sales Network, Finome and Cap are not open to the public. If one is made available to you, its own terms apply in addition to these: the affiliate terms, the Sales Network terms (both published when those programs open), and the Finome and invite sections of the Studio terms.

    Cap subscriptions

    These paragraphs apply only while Cap is available to you.

    Cap has a free plan and paid plans (Starter $29/mo or $290/yr, Pro $79/mo or $790/yr, Team $199/mo or $1990/yr). Paid plans are billed in advance by card through our payment partner, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel. Usage allowances (contact reveals, AI matches, tracked sends and intro requests) reset each month and don’t roll over.

    Cancel any time from Plan in your Cap dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and then moves to the free plan; we don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it. If we change a price, we tell you before it applies, and it starts at your next renewal.

    Investor profiles are compiled from public sources and checked against investors’ own sites, but they can be out of date. Cap doesn’t guarantee introductions, replies or funding, and isn’t investment advice.

12. 12

    Suspension and ending

    You can stop using Ottomind and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, puts others at risk or exposes us to legal liability, and we may pause a listing while we look into a report. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as licences already used, payment obligations and liability limits, survive.

13. 13

    Liability

    The services are provided as they are and as available, without warranties beyond those the law requires. We aren’t responsible for businesses’ services or conduct, for third-party websites or web results, or for decisions made on AI-generated content.

    To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

14. 14

    Governing law and disputes

    Governing law and the forum for disputes are to be confirmed by counsel. We’ll update this section once they are.

    If you have a concern, email us first at hello@ottomind.dev and we’ll try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

15. 15

    Changes

    We may update these terms. We change the date at the top, and tell you by email or in the product before a significant change applies. If you keep using Ottomind after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can stop and delete your account.
